Event Coordinator Mary planned every detail for our dinner party and guided me throughout the process from menu to wine selections. Chef George did an outstanding job in all the usual things you would expect from an exceptional dinner, but he added several extra touches that went beyond the usual. At my request, he demonstrated how he prepared portions of the meal. He went above a demonstration and it became an interactive show. Dessert was prepared table side and was an event unto itself that will be talked about for years. Mary and George blended with ease with the guests and became a favorite of all attending! You will be pleased to have them as a feature at you next dinner party.

We used Kalo Catering for my wedding on March 24, 2018. From the very beginning I knew we made the right choice. Chef George and his wife Mary brought us to their property for our menu tasting. The tasting itself was beautiful! They made sure everything we tried was exactly what we wanted and allowed for any changes. I told them to choose a flavor for our cake and what they came up with was way better than I ever could have imagined. Overall, if you are looking for a caterer for an event, especially a wedding, I cannot recommend George and Mary at Kalo enough. You will not be disappointed! On the day of our wedding, Mary was actually our day-of coordinator (One of the biggest pluses of their services). She made sure everything went smoothly and I can honestly say not a single thing went wrong during our wedding day! I don’t know how many people can say that. As far as dinner, it was fantastic. We received multiple comments after dinner and later that it was the best food people have ever had at a wedding. The cake was even better. I was blown away with how it came out and how it tasted. I wish I could have gotten a bigger cake so I could have had more left over!

Kalo Catering provided my daughter’s 150-guest wedding with superb food with outstanding service. Mary and Chef George were fantastic to work with. Their punctuality and overall professionalism was simply the best and their entire team, including servers, are on par with a 5 star restaurant. I just could not have been more pleased! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The servers were extremely attentive. And Mary is so well organized that she totally took the stress off my back — allowing me to enjoy my daughter’s big day and all our guests! The entire wedding reception was flawlessly executed, from start to finish! These days, you just don’t expect to see such a high level of quality, but Kalo Catering really delivered! I whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone who wants a first-class experience at a very fair price.

Obviously on the most important day of your life you want everything to be perfect! EVERYONE at our wedding could not stop talking about how good the food was..specifically the filet with crab claw!! Their presentation is do sophisticated but the taste is even better! Kalo was on time and made everything run so smoothly. Mary always was quick to respond to my emails leading up to the big day and was a sweetheart dealing with my random questions. I would highly recommend them!

Kalo Catering made our wedding as perfect as we imagined! Everything was set up perfectly on the day, and all food came out when it was supposed to. We have been getting so many comments about how amazing the food was, even two weeks after the wedding!!! Mary was so easy to work with and offered suggestions and worked with us on the menu to make it exactly what we wanted! George, the head chef gave us an awesome private tasting and specified how everything would come out on the day. We asked if he could do something for a late night snack and he came up with the idea to do donut holes and coffee. They came out piping hot and were a huge hit with our guests. Kalo will be who we recommend for anyone having a wedding in Texas!! They were incredible! Thanks Kalo for making our day even more special!!

We looked and looked and looked for a caterer.. the catering ended up being one of the last things to nail down because we were so picky… picky on the food and also the people that were serving it. When we Met with Kalo Catering we were immediately blown away. We loved Kalo Catering! The food was amazing and was definitely a hit with the guests. George and Mary were very accommodating.. we switched things around quite a bit and they worked with us through every change and question! They also brought EVERYTHING so it made the whole process so easy from start to end (they cleaned everything up for us too!). Definitely the best bang for your buck and so worth it!

We used Kalo Catering for our wedding this past August. When we had our tasting, it was so hard to pick our favorites! We landed on the venison bruschetta, arancini, and the plated short ribs and could not have been happier. Our guests are still raving about the food! Chef George and his staff were so accommodating, making sure we had the perfect event. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

If you are searching for a caterer, you can stop looking. You have just found the best ever! Mary and George Paramithas are absolutely awesome! Their food is over the top. We hired Kalo Catering for our daughter’s wedding and were not disappointed at all. Not only was the food wonderful, they provided us with the bartenders, servers and the most delicious cake I have ever had. All of the individuals were helpful, courteous, and just amazing. Mary was also our day of wedding planner. She helped us with the rehearsal the night before the wedding and made the entire rehearsal and wedding day stress-free for all of us. She took care of everything. My daughter was so calm on her special day, and I have Mary to thank for that. Using Mary as the wedding planner and Kalo Catering, they were in sync every step of the way. Please take my word for it and call Kalo Catering. You will not be sorry.

Awesome job catering! George is very personable and spent time with us before the wedding to find out exactly what we needed. He followed through precisely as he said he would. All of our guests were raving about the quality of the meal, far beyond anything else they had eaten at other weddings or events. Presentation was beautiful. The freshly made apple pies for dessert were stunning and absolutely delicious! Portions were large, some guests went back for seconds and we still had leftovers. We love his local farm to table concept. We felt that George went well beyond expectations and that his part made our wedding go from ordinary to spectacular. We would highly recommend him for any type of affair that needed catering!

Kalo Catering was my first choice when I decided to get married in the hill country, and it was the best decision I’ve made. George and his wife Mary went above and beyond my expectations, the menu was worked out to be exactly what I wanted, and I was able to stay in budget! I know for a fact Kalo will be catering my younger sisters weddings, and I will continue to recommend George for years to come!

George and Mary were the friendliest people we met during our search for a caterer for my daughter’s wedding. George’s enthusiasm about the menu we chose was infectious. Their attention to detail was outstanding, little things we wouldn’t have thought of brought so much to the reception. The food was out of this world delicious. Even though we had a very large crowd everything was fresh and tasted like it was a small gathering. I wish I had more events to plan so that I could use Kalo Catering again and again.

Extremely professional company and very detailed in finding out exactly what we wanted and executing it to perfection! We were so happy with Chef George and my daughter’s reception was spectacular, thanks to Kalo Catering. They had an appetizer table that looked like something off a cruise ship. The food didn’t just taste magnificent but the display was beautiful! I will be using him for the upcoming baby shower (hopefully sooner than later!)

George and his team were great! We had a fall out with our original caterer 1.5 week before the wedding (!!!!!!), and they totally saved they day. They even were able to accommodate a Canadian/Mexican menu for our guests on such a short notice. He even was able to meet with me, my dad, and my husband and prepared a 3 course sampler for us with a salad, poutine, and the best darn peach cobbler pie I think I have ever had. Our guests said they really enjoyed the food. He did a “Southwest station” with steak, chicken, and shrimp that our guests were able to choose what they wanted in line and it was grilled fresh for them. He also prepared Canadian poutine in small cones for cocktail hour that were just as good as poutine in Alberta! The only thing I screwed up on was making sure that they knew I wanted them to help serve the cake (which is usual for wedding caterers), so that was a bit overwhelming but totally my fault. Overall, we were really happy and incredibly grateful for George and his team!

Although I had a relatively small event, it was very special for my wife and I as we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. George and Mary made our experience one that not only will we never forget, but our guests will also remember for a long time. The food was excellent. Most everybody went back for more! George put my mind at ease right away with his excellent demeanor and confidence. Kalo Catering went above and beyond for our wedding. Everything turned out exactly as we had imagined, and they even traveled from out of town for our wedding (from Texas to Florida!). The food was excellent, and the presentation was beautiful – without any added stress from our end, they put it all together themselves. We also didn’t have an official wedding planner, so it was great to have their experienced background because they thought of all the last-minute details that really made a difference.

George and Mary were awesome! Not only did they make some of the most delicious food I have ever had but they created an engaging and fun atmosphere for the guests. Several people commented that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to and I have no doubt that Kalo Catering played a huge part in making our wedding such a great event. 6 stars!

My husband and I used Kalo at our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and aside from saying “I do”, hiring Chef George, Neva and their team at Kalo was the best decision we made that day. We wanted simple food executed with sophistication and healthy decadence, and they delivered exactly that. We intended on asking our guests how they liked the food during/after the wedding – but we didn’t have to, because our guests went out of their way at or after the wedding to tell us how amazing the food was.
We also used them for our linens, drink ware, flat ware and bar tending services and ALL of the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Prior to the event, his team was always efficient at replying to one of my many questions.
I really can’t say enough good about Kalo. Top notch. I will seek out opportunities to provide catering, just so I can use them again.
