George | Executive Chef
George found his culinary passion at 16 years old while at the Arizona Biltmore Resort. After spending several years training as an apprentice in his fathers hometown of Thessaloniki, Greece, he moved to Texas to start his life with Mary. While working in 5 star resorts and restaurants in Texas, he and Mary realized they wanted to go out on their own and bring their talent to the catering world.
When he’s not cooking, he’s tending to his organic garden at their Hill Country homestead.

After graduating from University of Houston, Mary and George wanted to make their mark through planning and catering exceptional and fun events. Mary is a paleo foodie. She found that by nourishing her body with grass-fed, quality meats, wild caught seafood, fruits, and plenty of veggies, you feel and look great.

Partnering with Mary & George in Fall of 2020, Darius and his wife, Lauren, bring an exciting flair to the Kalo Catering team.
